The conveyors are designed for pneumatic conveying of dry free-flowing bulk materials. The conveyors are designed with regard to the given application, transport capacity, transport distance and characteristics of the material to be conveyed.
Uniform pressure in the top part of the container ensures gentle transport of materials and transport efficiency. Conveyors of all sizes have their cone adjusted to make it easy to empty the conveyed material. The conveyors come with all the necessary valves, an outlet neck and an inspection opening. Nozzles for easier discharge come as standard.
As standard, the conveyors are made from structural or stainless steel with maximum operating pressure of 8 bar, and are intended for materials up to a temperature of +100°C.
How do conveyors work...?
To start the filling cycle, the filling and purge valves need to be open. The filling cycle is completed when the filling valves close, followed by the purge valves. The conveyor is then pressurised by compressed air or inert gas which helps to feed the material into the transfer pipes. As soon as the conveying cycle is completed, the air pressure drops, and the air inlet is closed automatically. The conveyor is then ready for another conveying cycle.
