Vacuum conveyors can be successfully used for conveying bulk materials for up to 30m at a maximum throughput of 9t/hour. This method is suitable for transport from small funnels, bags or barrels in order to charge material into manufacturing equipment or mixers.
The material can be sucked manually by the operator or by means of a suction tube, or automatically from the hopper at the outlet of which the suction valve is installed.
The advantage of vacuum conveyors is the fact that only a supply of compressed air at the required quality and quantity is required for their operation and that there is no need to use other devices, such as a vacuum pump etc.
As standard, vacuum conveyors are made from stainless steel in combination with silicone seals and an anti-static filter thanks to which they can be used safely in operations with strict hygiene requirements.
Vacuum conveyors can be controlled via an air or electric control unit.
